Asparagus

Asparagus officinalis, otherwise known as garden asparagus, is a perennial flowering plant species with young shoots that are used as a spring vegetable. Asparagus contains an array of vitamins and minerals that are beneficial for health, including folate, vitamins A, C, B6, and K, as well as copper and manganese.
